Lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4 or LFP) provide numerous benefits compared to lead-acid and other lithium batteries: longer life span, no maintenance, extreme safety, lightweight design, and improved discharge/charge efficiency. While not the cheapest initially, their long life and zero maintenance make them the best long-term investment.
