How does the self-heating function work?
The self-heating system activates automatically when the battery is connected to a charger in sub-freezing temperatures (below 0°C / 32°F). It uses the incoming charge power to heat the internal battery cells up to a safe temperature before starting the charging cycle, protecting the cells from cold-charging damage.
Can I connect these 12V 300Ah batteries in series or parallel?
Yes, these batteries can be configured in series (up to 4S for a 48V system) or in parallel (up to 4P for a 1200Ah system) to meet your specific voltage and capacity requirements. Ensure that all connected batteries are of the same model, age, and state of charge.
What type of charger is recommended for this battery?
We recommend using a dedicated LiFePO4 battery charger with a constant current / constant voltage (CC/CV) profile. For optimal battery life and performance, a 14.6V 60A charger is preferred.
