Yes, these are Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries. They are sealed, leak-proof, and require no addition of water or electrolyte during their service life.
What are the storage requirements to prevent self-discharge?
Batteries can be stored for more than 6 months at 25ºC. The self-discharge ratio is less than 3% per month at this temperature. We recommend charging the batteries before use if stored for long periods.
Can the container material handle high flammability requirements?
The standard container is made of ABS (UL94-HB). However, flammability resistance of UL94-V0 is available upon specific request.
Why is "Front Access" important for telecom systems?
Front access terminals allow for much easier and quicker connection and maintenance, especially when batteries are installed in standard power racks or cabinets.
